About Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva

Board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics in the fields of critical care and sleep medicine, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva currently serves as associate executive director in the Elk Grove Village, Illinois, offices of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). He is currently spearheading the implementation of a new initiative to improve access to health care for children and young people with epilepsy. Partnering with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva simultaneously furthers pediatric environmental health education as the principal investigator for Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Units in the eastern United States.

Before joining the AAP in 2012, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva spent three years as corporate vice president and chief quality officer of corporate administration with the Children’s Hospital and Health System of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. From 2002 to 2009, he oversaw quality and outcomes for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, supervising staff across three departments and fostering partnerships between the hospital’s medical and administrative divisions.
